Aiken (8-3, 3-0 Region 5-AAAA) stayed unbeaten in region play with a victory.


Machi Provost was the Hornets’ leading scorer with 14 points, and Ben Riley had 12. Devante Gaiters wasn’t far behind with 10 points of his own.


Aiken will host North Augusta on Thursday.


South Aiken JV 34, North Augusta 28


South Aiken (8-1, 3-0 Region 5-AAAA) continued an impressive run with a road win.


Damion Brown led the T-Breds with 11 points, and Kingley Priester and Josh Kiser chipped in eight and six, respectively.


South Aiken will host White Knoll on Thursday.


Schofield MS 50, Ridge Spring-Monetta 27


Schofield (8-2) got 18 points from Melvin McKie in the victory.


Irives McKinney also scored in double figures for the Rams with 10, and Jordan Lytes added eight.


Schofield will next host Kennedy on Thursday.


Aiken MS 33, AL Corbett 24


Aiken (5-3) collected the win behind a 13-point effort by Jontrez Wise. Anthony Tyler added nine points for the Gators, who will host Ridge-Spring Monetta on Thursday.

Aiken JV 30, Lexington 19


Aiken (6-1, 1-2 Region 5-AAAA) collected its first region win of the season.


Tyeisha McKevie was the star of the show for the Hornets with 17 points, and Destiny Harrison scored six points. Aiken will host North Augusta on Thursday.


North Augusta JV 36, South Aiken 30


Carly Dempsey had 12 points in the loss for South Aiken (2-4, 0-3 Region 5-AAAA), which will host White Knoll on Thursday.


Aiken MS 28, AL Corbett 18


Aiken (7-1) got 11 points from Madeline Hamic in the win.


The Gators will host Ridge Spring-Monetta on Thursday.
