A 38-year-old man was detained for disorderly conduct after officers found him urinating between two parked vehicles on Laurens Street. The man reportedly appeared to be highly intoxicated and led officers on a short foot pursuit.

An employee of the Jade of China reported on Thursday that someone spray-painted graffiti on the side of the business.

A 74-year-old woman was accused of shoplifting from Hobby Lobby on Whiskey Road on Thursday after she reportedly hid several items in her purse. The woman reportedly has a shoplifting conviction from 2001.

Aiken Public Safety officers responded to a fight at Aiken Middle School on Thursday. One student had allegedly jumped on another.

A 55-year-old woman was detained for shoplifting after allegedly taking several items from Walmart on Richland Avenue on Thursday.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Todd Avenue in North Augusta. The owner told officers the vehicle was unlocked and that a briefcase was missing.

A burglary was reported at Pine Forest Baptist Church on Pine Log Road in Langley on Thursday. A silver pitcher and a projector television were reported missing, and the rest of the church was reportedly in disarray.
