WILLISTON, SC – Funeral Services for Willie Mae Duboise Beasley, 83, of Williston, SC will be held at 1 o’clock Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC. with the Reverends Cindy Fuller and Tom Summers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 o’clock until the time of the service. Burial will be at the Williston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Fertig, Billy Givens, Sam Grimes, Russell Kanagy, Michael Nix and Sam Tune. Memorials may be sent to Williston United Methodist Church in Mrs. Beasley’s memory to 6030 Springfield Rd. Williston, SC 29853. Mrs. Beasley passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. Born in Franklin County Alabama she was a daughter of the late Green David Duboise and Annie Lee Smith Duboise. She married Arthur Earl Beasley in 1949 and they moved to Williston in 1952. Prior to moving to Williston she taught Elementary School, second grade and retired from the IGA formerly known as the Piggly Wiggly in Williston where she worked for more than twenty years. She was a member of the Williston United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of the home; sons, Karl (Patricia) Beasley of Elloree and Jim (Carla) Beasley of Aiken; sisters, Vera Cook of Anniston Alabama and Jolene Baker of Phil Campbell, Alabama; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two grandsons, Joel and Chad Beasley. Folk Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
