The monthly meeting of the Aiken Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will be held Wednesday at Newberry Hall. Cost is $22 per person. On Saturdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26, the Planetarium will present “Ancient Sky Lore” at 7 p.m. and Digistar “Laser” Fantasy at 8 p.m. Weather permitting, the observatory, housing the Bechtel telescope, will be open for viewing after each show. A concert featuring violist Douglas Temples Jr. and pianist Daniel Maltz will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the USC Aiken Etherredge Center, 471 University Parkway.
