A 30-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Monday after being pulled over for driving erratically on Whiskey Road.
Officers responded to a gas station on Whiskey Road on Tuesday after the clerk found a plastic bag on the floor believed to contain narcotics.
A 54-year-old Aiken man was detained for trespassing after notice after multiple people reported him asking for money from customers inside the McDonald’s on York Street and a nearby gas station.
A burglary was reported at a business on York Street on Tuesday. The owner reported that a large portion of the chain-link fence had been cut and a trailer had been moved. Nothing was reported missing.
A 21-year-old Augusta man was detained for driving under the influence on Wednesday after an officer initiated a traffic stop on Vaucluse Road when the driver of the vehicle sat at an intersection for an entire light cycle.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Olivia Way in Warrenville, Twisted Needle Court in North Augusta, Jefferson Davis Highway and Sharyn Lane in Aiken.
A Beech Island woman reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday that she was struck in the arm by a vehicle traveling down Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater while she was walking on the side of the road around 1:15 p.m.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Falcon Place in Warrenville on Tuesday.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Gamble Road in Aiken on Tuesday. The owner reported that a window had been smashed and a purse and cash were missing.
