NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – Funeral Services for Mrs. Virginia Alvadine “Deana” Cooper, 74, of Robinson Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest December 27, 2012, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Pastor Bob Still officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Cooper was a native of Glenwood, Georgia, having made North Augusta her home for the past 49 years. She was a Baptist and former Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Julian E. Cooper; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darrell Cooper, North Augusta and Sam & Amanda Cooper, Evans; two grandsons, Cannon Cooper and Chance Cooper; a brother, Billy F. Morrison, Lyons, Georgia; a sister, Jackie Asquith, Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon one hour prior to the service.
