A woman reported Saturday she was driving on Pine Log Road near Beech Island Avenue in Beech Island when an unknown subject threw what appeared to be an orange at her car, causing damage.
A woman was taken into custody for disorderly conduct Saturday after she was observed to be wobbling as she walked and was unsteady on her feet, according to an Aiken County Sheriff’s Office incident report. She also had allegedly been soliciting patrons for money at the Sprint mart on Jefferson Davis Highway and flashing them.
A 59-year-old Aiken man received treatment at Georgia Health Sciences University after reportedly being beaten by two subjects during an altercation at a Pineland Terrace home in Aiken. The man said he wished to press charges.
A 34-year-old Aiken man was taken into custody for unlawful entry after reportedly being found in a home on Moseley Road in Aiken “rummaging” through the homeowner’s things. The homeowner said she had invited the subject to “hang out” then they both left the home, and she locked the door, only to return to find him inside the residence, according to an incident report. Nothing appeared to be damaged or missing. A neighbor said the subject had been living with him but had moved out, leaving behind some of his belongings. Law enforcement found a credit card with the subject’s name on it wedged between the door and the door frame of the neighbor’s home. The subject claimed he returned to the first house to retrieve his ID and also admitted to trying to retrieve his belongings from the second home.
A 17-year old North Augusta male was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after law enforcement observed that, after making contact with the subject as he walked along Birch Street in North Augusta, he was unable to stand unsupported and had slurred speech.
A 33-year-old North Augusta female was taken into custody for criminal domestic violence first offense after she was involved in an altercation at a Greenland Drive home in North Augusta.
Approximately 35 tire rims were reported stolen from Young’s Service Station on Sandbar Ferry Road in Beech Island.
A 22-year old woman and a 23-year-old man, both of Hillview Drive in Graniteville, were taken into custody for criminal domestic violence first offense after being involved in an altercation with each other at their residence. Law enforcement observed visible injuries on both subjects.
Two doors at Lane’s TV Shop on Augusta Road in Warrenville and a camper door and screen were reported damaged.
A 51-year-old New Ellenton man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after law enforcement observed him stumbling and unable to maintain his balance at Club Sunshine on Sanders Avenue in New Ellenton.
Law enforcement responded to Moonshadow Drive in Aiken on Saturday in response to a shooting incident. The victims, two Aiken men who were outside of the residence at the time, said a subject began shooting at them. One victim ran behind a trailer, and the second ran back inside the residence for cover. Deputies found two rounds entered the residence, one striking a large flat-screen TV and the other an interior door. There was also damage to a car. Six shell casings were found where the victims said the subject stood. The subject returned and was identified by the victims.
