CiJi Bolen of Williston, S.C. and Ryan Bell of Edgefield, S.C. were married September 15, 2012 in Edisto Island, S.C. at Brookland Pointe Plantation. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Rev. Floyd Dukes officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Pam Cushman and M.B. Bolen, Jr. of Williston, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cushman of Aiken, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Bates Bolen Sr. of Williston, SC.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Bell, Jr. of North Augusta, SC. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Otey Anderson and Mrs. Bobbie Bell and the late Phillip Bell Sr.
Sallie Abel of North Augusta, S.C. was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsie Bolen of Williston, SC, sister of the bride; Kerri Sizemore of Aiken, SC, cousin of the bride; and Abbie Sizemore of Aiken, SC, cousin of the bride.
Phillip Bell, Sr., father of the groom, of North Augusta, SC was the best man. Groomsmen were Cameron Bell of North Augusta, SC, brother of the groom; Evan Bell of North Augusta, SC, brother of the groom; and Adam Brinkley of Graniteville, SC, cousin of the groom.
Samuel Jeffers, nephew of the bride, and Landon Johnson, cousin of the groom, carried a sign that read “Here Comes the Bride.”
Kiersten Jeffers of Williston, S.C., niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
Following a reception in Edisto Island, S.C. at Brookland Pointe Plantation, the couple left for a wedding trip to Bora Bora, Tahiti. They will reside in Anchorage, Alaska.
The bride is a graduate of Williston-Elko High. She is a graduate of USCA with a B.S. degree in nursing. She is employed by Tale Med as a traveling nurse.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Strom Thurmond High. He is a graduate of USCA with a B.S. degree in nursing. He is employed by Tale Med as a traveling nurse.
The engagement setting was at Battery Park in Charleston, SC, after a romantic carriage ride. For the groom, the bride arranged a special appearance by “Cocky” at the rehearsal dinner. “Honorary Aunts” were Cindy Sizemore of Aiken, SC and Lorie Bolen of Williston, SC.
