Teen charged with indecent exposure
An Aiken teenager was detained for indecent exposure after he exposed his genitals to women inside a store on Monday, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
Elijah Michael Brunson III, 17, of Lancaster Street, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and placed in the Aiken County detention center, where he remained on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the Walmart on Whiskey Road around 10 p.m. on Monday and spoke with a 36-year-old woman who said Brunson was walking around the store and exposing his private parts. She directed officers to his last location.
“The suspect … stated that he had just gotten to the store and did not know what I was talking about,” the report stated.
Another woman told officers she saw Brunson walking around exposing himself.
“She stated that the suspect made attempts to get her attention before he exposed himself,” the report stated.
Brunson has previous charges on his record of failure to comply with a public safety officer and trespassing after notice.
