The Augusta Chorale will give its annual Christmas Concert at 4 p.m. today at the Gilbert-Lambuth Chapel of Paine College. Tickets will be $15 for adults and $5 for students; call (706) 830-0991 for tickets.

The Aiken Jaycees Christmas Parade will take place today with line-up at 1 p.m. and departure at 2 p.m.; the route will go down Park Avenue and up Laurens Street to the finish line near Trinity Lutheran Home. For more information, call 644-3008 or visit www.aikenjaycees.com.

Cub Scouts Pack 115 will be collecting new unwrapped toys for the Marines Toys For Tots project during the Aiken Christmas Parade today. Cub Scout parents will be walking alongside the float collecting toys during the parade; just give your donation of a new unwrapped toy to them, and they will deliver them to the Marines.

The Green Thumb Garden Club will sponsor its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from 2 to 5 p.m. today in Ridge Spring. Tickets are available through any garden club member.

Shepeard Community Blood Center will hold blood drives from 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 118 York St., where six donors will win $25 Fatz Cafe gift cards; and from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 961 Trail Ridge Road.

The Aiken High School Bands will give their Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Johnís United Methodist Church. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Local Chapter 5241 of the AARP will have its annual Christmas party at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center on Monday at noon. Entertainment will be provided by the Savannah River Band. Bring a dish to share and an unwrapped toy for Secret Santa. Guests are welcome. You do not have to be a member of AARP National to belong to the local chapter.
