The South Aiken Thoroughbred Classic went to the home team, as the T-Bred JV team won the four-team tournament.
The tournament featured South Aiken, Aiken, Silver Bluff and Midland Valley.
In the first game of the tournament, which started at 9 a.m., Aiken defeated Midland Valley. In the second game of the tournament, South Aiken beat Silver Bluff 45-23. Damien Brown had 13 points and Kingsley Priester had nine in the win.
In the consolation game Midland Valley defeated Silver Bluff.
South Aiken then won the championship game over Aiken 56-45. D.J. Terry had 16 points to lead the T-Breds, while Priester had 15 and Brown had 12. Machi Provost had 10 points in the loss while Ben Riley and Brandon Wilson each had eight.
South Aiken’s JV boys team moved its record to 4-0 and will play at home against Airport on Monday.
