I can't believe that I have been gone from Aiken for almost 10 years. In that time though, God has blessed me, by allowing me to publish my first book.
This past month I published “Journey To Christ,” which is short vignettes of encouragement or journeys that I have taken throughout life that hopefully will lead the reader back to Christ. He has allowed me to use my own illustrations in this book, so I am giving all the proceeds to my “Moms Who Lost Children/Good Grief,” which is a group of ladies who also have given a child back to God, and meet with me at my Edisto Beach house twice a year. Aiken Office and Book Supply has kindly offered to host a book signing for me on Saturday, Dec. the 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
I do hope many of my wonderful Aiken friends will stop by and say “Hi” and get a copy of the book. It is a cute little Becky-type book and hopefully glorifies my lord. I love Beaufort, but as always, Aiken will always be home.
