An Aiken woman reported on Tuesday that someone named Idiot Pineapple has been making threats against her on Facebook. The user reportedly threatened to rape the woman and her mother. The woman told police she blocked the user on Facebook.
Two men reportedly took several bags of dog food from a display in front of Dollar General on York Street on Wednesday.
An ATV was reported missing from a home on Washington Circle. The vehicle was a red 2005 Honda TRX 300 four-wheeler.
An Aiken woman reported on Wednesday that she found a suspicious note on her porch when she arrived home. The note reportedly said, “I see you all the time. Love to learn more about you. Text me sometime,” and then provided a phone number. Officers tried contacting someone at the number but were unsuccessful.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Legion Road, Augusta Road and Dunbar Street in Warrenville on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A burglary was reported on Brandy Road on Wednesday. The owner reported a bicycle missing.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Interstate 20 east near mile marker 3 in North Augusta. The owner of the white 1997 Ford Taurus left the vehicle after it ran out of gas, and returned to find it gone.
