A 16-year-old high school student was charged with third-degree assault and battery last week after she reportedly assaulted a 16-year-old girl after another student paid her $5 to strike the student “due to a prior disagreement.”
The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to burglaries last week on Union Street and Cetch Court. A stove, a heating and air conditioning unit and a refrigerator were reported missing from one home.
Shoplifting incidents were reported on Saturday at Walmart on Whiskey Road and Kent’s Korner on East Pine Log Road.
