This year’s holiday offering from the Aiken Performing Arts Group will be the Carolina Brass Christmas Pops concert.

The show will be on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. at the URS Center for the Performing Arts, 126 Newberry St. S.W.

Loved for their combination of virtuosity and good humor, Carolina Brass is a group of internationally renowned musicians with a repertoire encompassing everything from Renaissance to Big Band with a mixture of fun-loving and jocular personalities.

Established in 1997, the Carolina Brass combines musical artistry and good humor, delighting audiences wherever they go. Carolina Brass programs are fun and embrace the audience with music and conversation. Fans are guaranteed to leave this concert filled with Christmas spirit.

Hear the group play such holiday favorites as “White Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride” and “Bugler’s Holiday” along with traditional favorites from Hollywood movies and Broadway shows. Fans will be moved to sing along with “Joy to the World” and “O Come all ye Faithful.”
