Fifty six girls from Aiken Gymnastics traveled to Rock Hill to compete at Winthrop University in the Crown of the Carolinas Invitational Meet on November 16 – 18. This was their first meet of the season competing against more than 1,000 other gymnasts, from nine states and 3 countries.

Team members bringing home gold medals were: Level 9 Lizzy Varnadore (AA), Alex Varnadore (vault); Level 8 (1st place team) Ciera Carter (bars, beam, floor, AA), Sara Wiatrak (vault, bars, AA), Savannah Kaplan (floor, AA); Level 5 (3rd place team) Simone Wiatrak (vault), Taylor Powers (bars), Dallas Bacon (vault), Noelle Kriegel (vault); Level 3 Victoria Colon-LaBorde (bars, beam, AA), Alexis Taylor (floor), Graciela Hernandez (vault); Platinum (7th place team) Jordan Clendenen (beam, floor, AA); Gold (1st place team) Jordan Burnett (vault, bars, beam, floor, AA), Mary Margaret Seawell (bars, AA), Lexi Floyd (beam), Kara Keenan (beam, floor, AA), Jessa Potvin (floor); Silver (5th place team ) Kris Griffith (vault) , Elizabeth Colon-LaBorde (floor, AA); Bronze (3rd place team) Kelsey Boynton (vault, beam, AA), Larissa Arias (beam), Abigail Johnson (vault), Isabella Pyle (vault) and Meghan Player (bars).

Queens of the meet were Ciera Carter, Jordan Burnett, Jordan Clendenen and Lizzy Varnadore who received a crown for having the highest overall scores in their individual sessions.
