A white 1995 Chevrolet Camaro was reported stolen from Brentwood Place on Monday. The owner reportedly asked her mechanic to tow the vehicle but he never did.
An Aiken man reported on Monday that someone tried to use his debit card to make a $1,400 online purchase from Sportsman Warehouse.
Break-ins were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Second Avenue, Storm Branch Road and Cherokee Drive in North Augusta and on Glenwood Drive in Warrenville.
Vehicles were reported stolen from Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta on Monday and Gregg Street in Graniteville on Monday.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Kalmia Forest Drive in Aiken on Monday.
A shoplifting was reported at Dollar General on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater on Monday. The suspect was reportedly hiding items in her jacket and purse.
Firefighters on Monday responded to a burning abandoned vehicle on Burris Road near New Holland Road in Aiken. The vehicle, which appeared to be a red Ford Expedition, was completely burned, and officers could not retrieve any identifying numbers due to the damage.
An Aiken woman reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office that someone entered her unlocked car while she was eating at a Whiskey Road restaurant on Monday and took her purse. Her debit card was reportedly to purchase gas.
A red 2001 Ford Expedition was reported stolen from Charleston Street on Monday.
