S.C. might change political colors
In the recent presidential election, red South Carolina’s voting had a definite bluish tinge. President Obama won the counties of Charleston, Richland, Darlington, Sumter, Orangeburg, Allendale and almost tied in Florence County. So statewide, Mitt Romney had 54 percent and Obama 44 percent. With the continuing influx of northerners to South Carolina and the increase in immigration, maybe South Carolina will become a purple swing state, or even revert back to a blue Democratic State.
