Looking for that special Christmas gift or home decoration to make sure your halls are decked this holiday? The 42nd annual Christmas Craft Show make have the trimming you need.

The show will be Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center on Whiskey Road. It will feature exhibitors from across the Southeast, with crafts including wood furniture, paintings, baked goods, jewelry, holiday ornaments, ceramics, pottery and other unique items. All crafts are handmade by the artists.

If all the shopping builds up an appetite, a variety of food including Southern barbecue, hamburgers, corn dogs and hot dogs will be available. If all you're hungry for is a snack, then kettle popcorn, boiled peanuts or funnel cake may be more to your taste.

The event will also feature some fun for children, too. Santa Claus will come into town on Dec. 1 and will be available for photos from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No outside cameras will be allowed in Santa Land.

Children are invited to design and take home a holiday craft during “Crafts for Kids,” which will go from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The craft show will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. It will take place indoors and outdoors, so dressing warmly is advised.

Admission and parking for the show will be free. For more information, call 642-7631.
