Police seek man accused of stealing vehicle

Georgia authorities are looking for a man they said is accused of stealing a vehicle.

The man is wanted for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and obstruction of a law enforcement officer stemming from a motor vehicle theft report to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

He was last seen wearing brown pants, an orange hat and a beige golf shirt with brown stripes.

The man was last seen around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday in the Dupont Street and Pollard Road area off Sandbar Ferry Road in Augusta.
