The T-Breds lost Monday 64-58. Evans was led by Jacob Buchanon’s 20 points and Damian Foreman also contributed 13 points.


South Aiken got a big night from Jordan Dingle, who scored 23 points in the loss. Austin Kyles scored 10 points, Richard Davis added another seven and Latrell Brown chipped in seven of his own. The T-Breds (0-1) will look to get on track tonight at Grovetown at 8 p.m.

The Mustangs weren’t able to beat the Wildcats in the second game of the Lake Murray Invitational tournament, falling 73-49.

Aiken 66


The Hornets were unable to beat Laney on the road, falling 71-66.


Laney was led by Khadiyah Tave, who scored 34 points in the opening win. Wynetta Wright also added in 15 points of her own in the win for the Wildcats.


Aiken was led by Hannah Williams, who had 22 points in the loss. Alexis Odum had 12 points, Rebecca Muir had 11 and Erin Gilmore had nine points.


The Hornets will look to even their 0-1 record tonight at Glenn Hills at 7 p.m.
