North Augusta police are seeking this suspect after a series of car break-ins.

North Augusta police are looking for a suspect following a series of car break-ins Friday night.

Lt. Tim Thornton said several cars were broken into on Martintown Road between the times of 10 p.m. and midnight.

Security camera footage taken from a nearby home shows the suspect appears to be a male, of average build and between 30 and 40 years old, police said. The suspect was driving a white SUV that police believe may be a Nissan or a Mitsubishi, and the vehicle may have some minor damage to the back and/or side from backing over a mailbox on Socastee Drive, police said.

Anyone with information about the break-ins or the suspect is asked to call the North Augusta Department of Public Safety at (803) 279-2121.
