Amanda Kelsey Tietze and Burns John Hudson of Aiken were married on July 28, 2012 at Rose Hill Estate. The bride was given in marriage by her father Kevin Tietze. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Ken McDonald. The atmosphere of the beautiful outdoor setting was enhanced with music by the DePriest String Trio.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Tietze of Aiken, and Ms. Sandra Smith of Hendersonville, TN. Amanda is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tietze, Mr. Bobby Smith, and Mrs. Glenice Key.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Hudson of Aiken. Burns is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hudson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Smith.

Shelly Yon of Graniteville was the maid of honor and the bridesmaid was Amanda’s sister, Megan Tietze. Brandon Hudson of Aiken, brother of the groom, was best man, and the groomsman was Alex Rossmann of James Island, SC.

A reception followed in the Rose Hill Mansion. They celebrated with their large families and friends and the couple left in a horse-drawn carriage for a wedding cruise in the Caribbean and Bahamas.

The couple met while attending Aiken High School.

The bride is a graduate in Graphic Design from USCA. She is a freelance photographer.

The bridegroom received a BS in Computer Science from Clemson. He is a software engineer at Blackbaud in Daniel Island, SC.

They reside in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
