On Saturday, August 11, 2012, Stephanie Morgan Conrad and Paul Sumter Batton were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill.
The Rev. Ronald Overcash, grandfather of the bride, officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at McBryde Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Tonya Conrad of Rock Hill and the granddaughter of Ronald and Betty Overcash of West Jefferson, N.C., and the late Madison and Sarah Conrad of Lexington, N.C. Morgan is a graduate of Clemson University and is employed with Harbor Chase Assisted Living of Rock Hill.
The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Mai Batton of Aiken, S.C. He is the grandson of Barbara Batton and the late James Batton of Aiken and Cua Nguyen of Aiken and the late Huynh Van Dau of Saigon, Vietnam. Paul is a student at Clemson University and is self-employed.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Lexi Conrad. Attendants of the bride were Amanda Batton, Kori Manson, Brett Mills and Lauren Turner.
Best Man was Peter Soule. Attendants of the groom were Adam Batton and Glenn Sanvik, Travis Batton, Chris Ehlman and Michael Mudge. Brent Batton also served as an usher for the service.
After a cruise in the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Rock Hill.
