A 20-year-old man is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Bath.

According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred at 56 Church Street in Bath around 10 p.m.

Donnie James Davis, 20, of Dixie Clay Road in Bath, was found dead at the Church Street home, according to Coroner Tim Carlton.

An Aiken County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the shooting incident at the home Saturday night, according to an incident report, where they found Davis dead inside the house.

Russell Dean Blackmon, 33, lives at the Church Street home, the report stated. He and another witness reported to police that David Rosier, 45, and Joshua Rosier, 21, both of Nicholson Road in Trenton, came to the Bath home, and the incident ensued, the report stated.

One of the witnesses at the home told police David Rosier shot Davis in the face with a handgun, the report stated, and then left the home with Joshua Rosier in a green Ford Explorer.

Cpt. Troy Elwell with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is still in its early stages and while no one has yet been charged, warrants currently are being sought for the suspects.
