Marlboro County at Strom Thurmond

Noah: I just can’t see anybody putting enough pressure on the Rebels to have to score in critical situations this early in the playoffs. Strom Thurmond 42, Marlboro County 17

Jeremy: The results tell me the Bulldogs are one of the better teams these Rebels have faced this year. Strom Thurmond gets a test tonight, which is exactly what it needs at this point of the run. Strom Thurmond 35, Marlboro County 24

Scott: The Bulldogs are a very good team, but we’ve all seen what Strom Thurmond does to really good teams: they dispatch them with ease. Strom Thurmond 49, Marlboro County 14

Barnwell at Silver Bluff

Noah: The Bulldogs learned from surviving a scare two weeks ago and will play tough from the opening whistle. Silver Bluff 28, Barnwell 14

Jeremy: Silver Bluff did not beat Barnwell like they probably expected to in the first go-round, but the Bulldogs will get their convincing win this time. Silver Bluff 31, Barnwell 13

Scott: Barnwell matches Silver Bluff blow-for-blow, but there’s some magic going on in Petticoat Juniction this year. Silver Bluff 28, Barnwell 20

Nation Ford at North Augusta

Noah: The Yellow Jackets will have to be at their best to win, and I expect they will be. North Augusta 38, Nation Ford 14

Jeremy: I expect a close game here. Nation Ford only seems to lose to quality programs, so a win of any kind would be a statement. North Augusta 35, Nation Ford 20

Scott: The Yellow Jackets will be in a foul mood, and the home crowd will boost them to a big first round win. North Augusta 42, Nation Ford 21

Standings

Noah: 74-17 (.813)

Jeremy: 74-17 (.813)

Scott: 75-16 (.824)
