Police blotter for Nov. 1, 2012

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is investigating a breach of trust at a restaurant on Whiskey Road.

According to a report, an employee told officers that she was missing about $160 from her drawer at the end of the day.

A burglary was reported to Public Safety on Sommer Street. According to the report, the back door had been kicked in, and the owner reported two televisions missing.

Burglaries were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Wagener Road in Salley, Wallace Green Street in Aiken and Woodland Drive in North Augusta.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Richland Avenue in Aiken and Chasity Lane in Warrenville.

Stolen vehicles were reported on Oak Ridge Club in Windsor and Interstate 20 at the 1 mile marker in North Augusta.

A shoplifting was reported at Reid’s on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta. The suspect took about $40 in meat and was spotted walking down Langley Dam Road by deputies.
