Crime blotter for Oct. 30

The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to vehicle break-ins on Corporate Parkway, Walker Avenue, Whiskey Road, Hill Avenue, Gin Street and Edrie Oaks Circle.

Shoplifting incidents were reported on Whiskey Road, Richland Avenue and York Street.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Gregory Road in Aiken, Victoria Drive in Aiken, Bettis Academy Road in Graniteville, Storm Branch Road in Beech Island, Jefferson Davis Highway in Aiken, Sandy Lane in Aiken, Outing Club Road in Aiken, Edisto Avenue in Aiken and Cato Road in Monetta.

A vehicle was reported stolen from an apartment complex on Vaucluse Road in Aiken.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Brookhaven Drive in Aiken, Briar Patch Lane in Warrenville, Hill and Dell Drive in Warrenville and Martin Lane in Warrenville.

A 22-year-old man was detained for driving under the influence after deputies pulled him over on Jefferson Davis Highway for driving erratically.
