Catering by Jennifer has opened downtown and lends itself to special gatherings such as business meetings, rehearsal dinners, receptions and more.

Owner Jennifer Richardson and her husband Russ (of Papa Russ’s BBQ) have opened their new business venture in The Alley in the former Papa Russ’s restaurant. The space most recently was Tank’d Moose, and before that, Soiree.

The remodeled Catering by Jennifer can seat 36 in the dining room, including the bar area, and its covered patio can seat 32 people. The sofa room is outfitted with plush, comfortable seating to encourage conversation.

“We are strictly open for private events – breakfast, lunch and dinner,” Jennifer Richardson said.

She still is working out menu selections and pricing but said the menu offerings will be varied. Papa Russ’s BBQ will round out the menu.

The dining room is equipped with flat-screen TVs and whiteboards for business meetings, lunches or dinners.

“There is a need in town for smaller venues, and this is a more intimate setting,” she said.

The space, located at 231 The Alley, is shown by appointment.
