The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to a shoplifting incident at the Walmart on Whiskey Road. A man pushed a cart full of merchandise out the front door of the store, but fled in a vehicle after being confronted by a loss prevention agent.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Senate Drive and Aiken Lane.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Lime Lane in Aiken, Jefferson Davis Highway in Aiken, Branch Court in Beech Island and Bettis Academy Road in Graniteville.
Vehicle break-ins were reported to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on Jefferson Davis Highway in Aiken, Sunfest Drive in North Augusta and May Royal Drive in Aiken.
A motorcycle was reported stolen from Barway Drive in Aiken. The 1997 Harley Davidson sportster is black with a dent on the left side of the gas tank, according to a report.
A burglary and vehicle break-in were reported at the same location on Cedar Road in Aiken. Several items were reported missing from the home and vehicle.
