The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to vehicle break-ins on Hill Avenue, Beaufort Street and Hampton Avenue.

A shoplifting incident was reported at the Walmart on Whiskey Road.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Pine Drive. The victim reported seeing an unmarked tow truck take his car away. He told officers that he wasn’t late on any payments, and thought the vehicle may have been misidentified. The vehicle was later found in a parking lot at Vaucluse Road and Congaree Avenue.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to burglaries on Barrett Street in Warrenville and Bettis Academy Road in Graniteville.

A shoplifting incident was reported at Dollar General on Harvey Court in Aiken.
