Watts named VP of patient care
Lynda Watts has been named vice president of patient care services/chief nursing officer for University Health Care System. Watts has bachelor’s degrees in nursing and health care administration and a master’s degree in management.
She joined University in 1988 as a staff nurse in Open Heart Recovery and has held numerous leadership positions within University Hospital over the course of her career. Watts was instrumental in the development, construction and opening of the Heart & Vascular Institute and has been involved in many projects and committees at University.
