A man robbed a North Augusta bar Tuesday wearing no pants, a pair of boxers on his head and used a silver bamboo stick disguised as a gun before fleeing in the victim’s car, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, the man also was wearing a blue long-sleeve T-shirt.

An employee was closing the Wagon Wheel bar on East Buena Vista Avenue around 11 p.m. when the man entered the bar, approached her at the register and demanded money, according to the report.

She told deputies the man was holding an object on his side trying to disguise it as a gun. He pushed her to the ground and took an unknown amount of money from the register before grabbing her by the hair and taking her into the bathroom, according to the report.

The woman reportedly locked herself in the bathroom until she heard the door alarm of the business ring. She then snuck out of the bathroom and hid behind the bar.

The man took the woman’s keys and fled in her vehicle, a green 1997 four-door Ford Explorer, according to the report.

The suspect is still at large.
