The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to vehicle break-ins on Augusta Road in Clearwater, Chestnut Avenue in North Augusta, Edgar Street in Warrenville and Star Bright Lane in Beech Island.


A cell phone was reported stolen from a Pineview Circle residence in Bath.


A window A/C unit was reported stolen from the Celeste Mobile Home Park in North Augusta.


A vehicle was reported damaged Saturday at a Red Tip Lane residence in Aiken.


Two necklaces were reported stolen from an Ergle Street residence in Graniteville.


A pizza delivery employee reported that he received fake bills as payment Saturday. The employee delivered pizzas to a Bay Street residence in Bath and was paid with two 20-dollar bills, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office incident report. Upon returning to the pizza delivery business, the employee observed the bills were fake.


Forty-nine bundles of shingles and a roll of flashing was reported stolen from Nokesville Circle in Aiken.


A Xbox 360 gaming system was reported stolen from a Kirby Drive residence in North Augusta.


An Aiken man was transported to Aiken Regional Saturday after reportedly being beaten by two subjects. The victim claimed he intervened when the subjects hit his girlfriend, according to an incident report. The subjects then began striking him. The victim broke free and was found on Whiskey Road by New Ellenton Police Department officers. The victim was observed to be bleeding from several cuts. Officers located the two subjects, who claimed the victim fell on broken glass, according to the report.


A 4-wheel utility trailer was reported stolen from a Wallace Green Street residence in Aiken.


A 56-year-old Aiken man was transported via ambulance Saturday after reportedly being struck in the neck with a needle at a Graniteville warehouse. Around 8:50 a.m., an employee, who was waiting outside the Bettis Academy Road warehouse, could not reach the victim by cell phone. The victim then came out of the building and passed out on the grass, according to an Sheriff’s Office incident report. The employee called 911. The victim stated he walked into the warehouse and was “struck in the neck by some needle.” He remembered seeing two subjects in the dark then waking up outside, according to the report. Sheriff’s deputies searched and cleared the warehouse with negative results.
