Jack Cox of Graniteville has put over 1,000 miles in three weeks on the Dodge Challenger he received by entering non-winning Muscle Car Money lottery tickets in a second-chance lottery.
One of his $5 scratch-off tickets, entered in the South Carolina Education Lottery’s second-chance promotion, was selected and Cox won his choice of four available muscle cars.
Black with white racing stripes, Cox said he’s had loads of fun showing off his new Challenger around Graniteville.
“People stop me on the road to say how good it looks,” Cox said.
To win a Muscle Car Money scratch-off ticket, a player must match their numbers to the four winning numbers.
Non-winning tickets may be entered into the state Education Lottery’s second-chance promotion, during which five tickets are selected and the winners get to choose the muscle car of their choice, according to the lottery. The cars available to the winners are the Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang GT and the Dodge Charger.
One player is selected to win the final grand cash prize of $100,000.
“Send in those tickets,” Cox advised.
The final drawing to award another vehicle and a $100,000 grand prize is planned for Jan. 24, 2013. Enter online at www.sceducationlottery.com or by mail by Jan. 17, 2013, to be eligible.
Cox is one of four South Carolina Education Lottery winners selected to win a muscle car. Winners in Columbia, Lugoff and Simpsonville received new cars, too.
