Kinder Kids of the CSRA is pleased to announce the third Justice for Kids Gala that will be held at Woodside Plantation Country Club on Oct. 13 starting at 6 p.m.
Kinder Kids invites the public to participate in the Justice for Kids Gala as donors, and they invite businesses to participate as sponsors. Proceeds from the gala will be used as additional support for families.
The mission of the organization is to provide comprehensive services and family support to medically fragile, developmentally delayed, physically challenged and behaviorally disordered children and their families by providing services that evoke maximum potential and foster the development of intellectual and social confidence.
“The key is to reach children early when we can make the greatest impact,” said founder Kenneth Allen. “Children with disabilities have a greater chance of living a normal life with this aid, and we are proud to help make the world kinder one kid at a time.”
Last year’s fundraising effort was a great success, raising over $27,000, but this year, the organization hopes to raise $100,000 to aid families throughout the CSRA.
Kinder Kids hopes to achieve these ambitious goals with the community’s help. The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails followed by a seated dinner at 7 p.m.
Judge Glenda Hatchett will be the guest speaker. The event will also feature a silent auction, door prizes, music and more. Tickets start at $50 per person. The deadline to purchase tickets was Oct. 1.
