Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to vehicle break-ins on Windsor Place, Grace Avenue, Nottingham Drive, Pinecrest Avenue and Audubon Drive.

A 47-year-old man was detained by Public Safety officers for driving under the influence, driving under suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle. Officers noticed the vehicle traveling slowly on Whiskey Road and that the tags did not match the vehicle registration.

Aiken County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the disappearance of 1,400 brass sprinkler heads that were reported missing from a construction site in Graniteville.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to vehicle break-ins on Audubon Circle in North Augusta and Ergle Street in Graniteville.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Wimbledon Road in Salley.
