South Aiken (11-5, 3-3 Region 5-AAAA) topped Dutch Fork 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

Bailey Parker had a solid all-around maych, collecting seven kills, four aces and seven digs. Lauren Howard also chipped in six kills, five aces and 14 assists, and Elizabeth Butler had four kills and four blocks. The T-Breds will hit the road Thurday for a 7 p.m. match with Lexington.

Aiken 3, White Knoll HS 2

Aiken (17-8, 6-0 Region 5-AAAA) won a nailbiter 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-20, 15-8. Natasha Dicks led the comeback victory with 27 kills and 12 digs, and Tyler Smith had 13 kills. Taylor Mabry led the team with 18 digs, while Emilty Teelon had 13.

The Hornets will host Dutch Fork on Thursday at 7 p.m.

RS-M 2-2, Williston-Elko 0-0

Ridge Spring-Monetta (6-8, 4-4 Region 4-A) got the region wins 25-14, 25-20 and 25-17, 25-9.

Jessica Harris had five aces and seven digs, and Raven Valentine had one block, nine kills and three digs. The Trojans will host North on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in their home finale.

Midland Valley HS 3, Brookland-Cayce HS 0

Midland Valley (6-9, 3-4 Region 5-AAA) got the region victory 25-18, 25-21, 26-24.

Kayla Morris was the teamís leader in kills with 13, and Christa Durden had seven aces. Hayley Flemming secured 11 digs, and Britney Campbell rounded out the teamís leaders with 19 assists.

In the JV match, Midland Valley won 25-17-25-15.

The Mustangs will travel to play region foe Airport on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
