Blotter for Sept. 11

A copper theft was reported to local law enforcement over the weekend at a Wild Woods Road location. The victim said someone entered his property and took between 100 to 200 pounds of copper.

A burglary was reported on Willow Run Road this weekend. The resident returned home and found a door had been forced open and a number of items were missing.

A Kentucky fugitive was arrested at a Beulah Avenue location over the weekend. The subject was wanted in connection with a shooting there. He was taken to the Aiken County detention center.

Law enforcement officers were notified that shots had been fired at Church Street and Vaucluse Road Monday morning. The case is under investigation.
