An Aiken man has won $250,000 with a Mega Millions lottery ticket.The man, who chose not to be identified, said he quit getting ready for work on the morning he realized he won, according to a news release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.He bought the winning ticket at the 3 Way Food Mart 5 at 755 Silver Bluff Road. The 3 Way Food Mart 5 received $2,500 for selling the winning ticket."I ran through the house screaming with my drawers on," he said.His ticket matched the first five numbers drawn on June 1 - 2, 27, 38, 46 and 52. The Mega Ball number was 45.The Mega Millions winner took the day off, but plans to continue working and buying tickets."I was one number off from the jackpot," he laughed. "Of course I'll keep playing."The odds of winning $250,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 3,904,701.Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game. Six numbers are drawn - five white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number.The jackpot starts at $12 million and grows until hit.
