Walker-Wienbeck wedding

Virginia Annie Wienbeck of Aiken and Jason Roy Walker of Aiken were married May 1, 2010, in Augusta. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Wako Cotney officiated.The bride is a daughter of Fred and Mary Annie Wienbeck of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Bob Johnson and the late Dolly Johnson and Charles Wienbeck and the late Viola Wienbeck.The bridegroom is a son of Joe and Debbie Walker of New Holland. He is a grandson of the late Wilson and Shirley Young and Carol Walker and the late Otis Walker.Miranda Wood of Graniteville was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Monika Wienbeck of Aiken, sister of the bride; Tiffany Wienbeck of Aiken, sister of the bride; Nicole Rhoden of Chicago, Ill., friend of the bride; and Kelli Beck of Aiken, friend of the bride.Micah Brewer of Aiken was the best man. Groomsmen were Kevin P. Orander of Aiken, friend of the groom; Dee Drummings of Aiken, friend of the groom; Alan Nichols of North Augusta, cousin of the bride; and Matt Voldness of Aiken, friend of the groom.Cayden Cribb of Aiken was the ring bearer.Marissa Brewer and Bailey Orander of Aiken were the flower girls.Following a reception in the Julian Smith Casino, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Caribbean.They will reside in Aiken.The bride is a 2003 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a 2006 graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in dental assisting. She is employed by Dr. Robert Lofgren.The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Aiken High School. He is self-employed as a builder and contractor.
