Canty was shot in the head and found dead lying in the middle of the Weaver StreetJoseph F. Hankerson - 222 days in jail - After spending more than 12 years at-large, Hankerson was found living in New York in April of 2007 and extradited back to Aiken County where he faces charges for the 1994 murder of Christopher A. The victim was shot in the stomach and found inside the back door of the mobile home. Sandra D. Martin - 37 days in jail - Martin is charged with the October 2007 stabbing death of her daughter's boyfriend, following an argument with 24-year-old Wayne Corley Jr.Christina E.Mavris - 198 days in jail - Mavris was arrested in May 2007 after the body of her 55-year-old mother and Schofield Middle School teacher, Dana Davis, was found stabbed to death in her burning Crosland Park home. Cornell D. Tyler - 134 days in jail - Tyler has been linked to the August 2005 murder of newspaper carrier Debra Dorch, 36, of Adams Drive. She died from multiple gunshot wounds when group of gunmen ambushed the pair while she was learning her newspaper route near Salley. Tyler was released from jail in December 2006 after his first murder trial ended in a hung jury. He was re-arrested in July 2007, on allegation he was selling illegal drugs and weapons at his home. Edward N. Walker - 810 days in jail - Walker is also linked to the August 2005 murder of newspaper carrier Debra Dorch.Willie L. Ware - 810 days in jail - Ware is also being held for the August 2005 murder of newspaper carrier Debra Dorch.Chad E. Williams - 199 days in jail - Williams is accused of beating his 81-year-old neighbor to death in May 2007 during an armed robbery.
