According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 61-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Sunday after he was seen staggering and intoxicated on Hampton Avenue. The man smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech.
A 42-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Sunday after becoming belligerent with officers on Richland Avenue. The man was reportedly very intoxicated and tried to get into his vehicle to leave. Officers asked him to sit down on a bench while they called him a cab but the man tried walking away, then became belligerent when officers asked him to stay.
A 20-year-old Aiken man was jailed for disorderly conduct on Saturday after officers saw him being carried by a friend near the intersection of Barnard Avenue and Two Notch Road. He was highly intoxicated and unable to stand. The suspect looked young and refused to comply with an officer’s request for his ID.
A 19-year-old Graniteville man was detained for driving under the influence on Saturday after he was pulled over on Pine Log Road for weaving in his lane of travel. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and failed multiple field sobriety tests. He provided a breath sample revealing a 0.0 percent blood-alcohol content. Officers took him to a hospital for a urine sample.
A 23-year-old Aiken man was jailed for driving under the influence on Saturday after he was pulled over on Richland Avenue for swerving in his lane of travel. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
A vehicle break-in was reported on East Pine Log Road on Friday. The owner reported that her vehicle was unlocked, and the suspect tried to removed a CD player from the dashboard.

A 36-year-old Aiken man was detained for driving under the influence on Monday after he was pulled over in Interstate 20 for speeding. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Swamp Road in Beech Island on Sunday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta on Saturday.
