According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone stole his moped from the front yard of his house on Rushton Road


An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that there had been a burglary at her home on Marvin Drive. She said a white male subject approached her in her backyard and asked her about “trees that needed to be cleaned up.” According to the woman, another white male subject went inside her house and stole her purse, which had money in it.


A burglary was reported on Saturday on Willow Run Road in Aiken.


A Clearwater man reported on Saturday that he saw someone inside his vehicle outside his house on Pine Street. When he turned on the porch light, the subject fled. The responding officer found two screwdrivers on the ground next to the vehicle and a bag of tools inside the vehicle that the victim said did not belong to him.


An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone got into her car and rummaged through its contents while it was parked at her home on Creekside Drive.


A Graniteville man reported on Saturday that someone stole his vehicle’s license tag and took “equipment” and a black PT740 Taurus semiautomatic pistol that were inside the vehicle. The man had parked the vehicle in the Dibble Road and Augusta Road area after it ran out of gas while he was on his way to work. After the man got off work and returned to the car with gas, he noticed that the items were missing.


A Warrenville woman, who lives on Pine Street, reported on Saturday that someone took money out of her purse while she was at a house on Olivia Way in Warrenville.


A 22-year-old North Augusta man was arrested at a home on Cary Avenue on Saturday in North Augusta following a suspicious person call. The responding officer asked “Dispatch” to check for outstanding warrants and one came back for grand larceny. During a search of the man before he was taken to the Aiken County Detention Center, the responding officer found several needles and a crushed blue and white pill. The subject said the pill contained morphine sulfate.


A Beech Island man reported on Friday that his Sea-Doo jet ski had been taken without his permission from a location on Augusta Road in Clearwater. He had noticed the jet ski was missing on Thursday. The reporting officer noticed the gate to the backyard where the jet ski was kept wasn’t locked, and the victim said the jet ski hadn’t been locked up.


A Gloverville man reported on Friday that a Craftsman tool box with tools inside was missing from his house on Carline Street after he let two subjects he didn’t know come inside and take showers. The man said he fell asleep while the subjects were there and that his bicycle also was missing. The responding officer reported that the victim was “intoxicated with alcohol.”


A 35-year-old Beech Island man was arrested on Friday after an officer saw him in the roadway in the Jefferson Davis Highway and Dibble Road area. According to the officer, the subject was “grossly intoxicated.” The man claimed to have been “born twice.” He said he died in 1971 and was “resurrected” in 1978. After being taken to the Aiken County Detention Center, the subject “stripped all his clothes off and masturbated,” according to the officer.


A Beech Island man reported on Saturday that he left his cellphone lying on a concrete slab in a parking lot on Jefferson Davis Highway. When he returned to look for the phone, it was gone, he said.


A North Augusta woman, who lives on Dogwood Drive, reported on Saturday that the fuel lines on two boats that were kept outside her house had been cut in half.


A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that another woman had indecently exposed herself to a 2-year-old boy at a home on Kerry Court where they all live. The complainant said she got into a verbal argument with the subject about a thermostat inside the house. The subject allegedly grabbed her crotch, cussed and pulled up her shirt over her head, exposing her bare chest to the juvenile. The complainant said that the subject has “mental issues” and didn’t want to press charges, but she did want to get a restraining order. The victim said she was going to move out of the house.


A North Augusta woman accused a man of attacking her at a home on Edgefield Road where they live during a verbal argument. She said the subject pushed her down and began strangling her “with both hands around her throat.” She also reported that the man punched her in the face and that “alcohol was involved earlier in the night.” The responding officer, who observed a scratch on the right side of the woman’s nose, planned to consult a judge about obtaining a warrant for the subject.


A Georgia woman reported on Saturday that a man who was working inside a house that she owns on Augusta Road in Bath took a cellphone and a pair of Nike shoes without permission.


An Aiken man, who lives on Weatherwood Court, reported on Saturday that someone took a flashlight and his wallet from his unlocked vehicle. He said a neighbor found the wallet, but the money inside it was missing.


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone had taken his 1998 white Ford Taurus while it was parked on Holiness Church Road in Wagener.
