The Aiken County Board of Education is inviting community residents to provide input for its update of a five-year strategic plan.
The meeting is scheduled on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The strategic plan, mandated by the State Department of Education, is intended for administrators and faculty to set goals in the areas of student achievement, teacher and administrator quality and improvements in school climate.
The Board's regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m. Among other business items, the South Aiken High School Naval Junior ROTC's CyberPatriot team will be recognized as a state tournament winner.
