According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
Law enforcement officials are investigating a suspicious fire at a trailer on Cedar Road in Windsor on Saturday. A subject, identified as “Chris,” was heard saying recently that “someone was going to burn down” the trailer.
A glass front cover was stolen from a vehicle at Ladd Britt Auto Sales on Whiskey Road in Aiken on Saturday.
A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that a Graniteville man backed his vehicle into the side of her carport and dislodged a support beam. The man left the scene, but returned when the responding officer contacted him. The officer reported that the victim and the subject agreed to “work the situation out.”
A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that he “must have” laid down his wallet while he was at work at Graniteville Specialty on Leitner Street in Graniteville. He said he searched a warehouse and his vehicle, but was unable to find the wallet, which had an unspecified amount of money in it.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that her brown Ford F-350 truck was stolen from the parking lot at the Dollar General store on Harvey Court. She said she put the keys under a mat in the truck while she went into Dollar General to shop. When she returned to the parking lot, the truck was gone.
An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone damaged the fence and gate at the entrance to the driveway of his home on Hillsboro Drive.
Burglaries were reported on Saturday at homes on Cranberry Lane in Warrenville and Belvedere Clearwater Road in North Augusta.
