According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 73-year-old Aiken woman reported identity theft on Monday after receiving a call from a business regarding an appointment she didn’t keep. The victim found out the unknown suspect made the appointment using her Social Security number.
A 92-year-old Aiken woman reported check fraud on Monday after learning that someone tried to cash checks in her name. The victim found out she was missing two checkbooks.
A burglary was reported on Cherokee Street on Monday.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A Beech Island business owner reported vandalism to the air conditioner unit and electrical box of her business on Cary Drive on Monday.
A Graniteville man reported multiple prescription medications missing from his home on Rainbow Falls Road on Monday.
A burglary was reported on Reams Road in North Augusta on Monday. The owner reported two televisions, cash, hats and three firearms missing.
An additional burglary was reported Monday on Kiwi Court in Aiken.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Edgefield Highway in North Augusta on Monday.
