According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
An 18-year-old Warrenville man was detained for shoplifting on Friday after he tried to take clothing from a store in Aiken Mall without paying.
A 21-year-old Johnston man was detained for shoplifting on Saturday after he tried to take a phone case from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.
An unknown man and woman took about $500 in merchandise from a store on Whiskey Road without paying on Friday.
A 19-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after she concealed items in her purse and tried to leave the Whiskey Road store without paying.
A burglary was reported at a home on Freiday Lane on Saturday. The owner reported a television, a microwave and clothing missing.
An additional burglary was reported at a home on Sumter Street.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Laurens Street on Friday. The owner reported a wallet and an iPod missing.
An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Plunkett Avenue on Friday. The owner reported a purse missing from the vehicle, which was unlocked.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 26-year-old North Augusta man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Friday after he tried to push the female victim out the door of his home. The woman reportedly suffered injuries from trying to hang on to the door frame to stay in the home. The man told officers she grabbed him around the neck, causing injury.
A Beech Island woman reported on Sunday that an unknown person used her bank card that had been stolen to make an unauthorized purchase.
Several vehicle break-ins were reported on Grady Lane in Beech Island on Sunday. Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Amen Loop and Old Nail Road in Beech Island.
A burglary was reported at a home on Justin Street in Warrenville on Saturday. The owner reported money and jewelry missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Columbia Highway in Aiken on Saturday and Storm Branch Road in Beech Island on Sunday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Dry Branch Road in Aiken on Sunday.
An abandoned vehicle was found in the driveway of a church on Pine Street in Warrenville on Sunday.
