According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 15-year-old boy was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take an iPhone case from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

A 24-year-old Williston woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she tried to take hair care and cosmetic products without paying by concealing them in her purse.

A 22-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after he tried to take an oil filter from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Greengate Circle on Wednesday. Both vehicles were unlocked.

Vehicles were reported stolen on Wednesday from Pebble Lane and Greengate Circle.

According to reports provided by the Sheriff’s Office:

A Graniteville woman reported on Tuesday that someone made $1,500 in fraudulent charges to her bank card.

A Windsor man reported on Wednesday that someone shot his Pine Acres Road home and vehicle with a paintball gun.

A Monetta woman on Wednesday reported her purse stolen from her workplace on Academy Street in Monetta.

Radiators were reported stolen from Shadow Lane Road in Wagener on Wednesday.

A burglary was reported on Lehigh Avenue in North Augusta on Wednesday.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Bainbridge Road in Aiken on Wednesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a gas station on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta on Wednesday.
