According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A vehicle that was stolen from Sharyn Lane in Aiken was recovered on Saturday on Millrace Circle in Aiken. The theft of another vehicle on Millrace Circle also was reported on the same day.
An Aiken man reported on Saturday that a utility trailer was missing from the barn on his property on Gooseneck Road.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone “removed” a “No Trespassing” sign that was on her property on Outing Club Road and tore it in half.
Break-ins involving three vehicles at the Quality Inn on East Frontage Road in Aiken were reported on Saturday.
An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone tried to pry open a door on her vehicle that was parked outside a house on Cablevision Road in Aiken.
Break-ins involving two vehicles were reported on Lanier Road in Beech Island on Saturday. A vehicle break-in also was reported on Sunset Circle in North Augusta on Saturday.
A 20-year-old Aiken man was arrested after a vehicle that had been reported as being stolen was found at his residence on Richland Avenue on Saturday.
An unknown subject allegedly stole two bottles of Bud Light beer from Kent’s Korner on Edgefield Highway in Aiken on Saturday. No description of the subject was provided in the incident report.
A burglary was reported at a home on Ridgecrest Road in Aiken on Saturday.
A Salley woman reported that a vehicle was stolen from outside her home on Honeysuckle Trail on Saturday. It was found lying on its side at the corner of Berlin Road and Rogers Cemetery Road.
A North Augusta woman reported on Sunday that someone had thrown a cinder block fragment onto her vehicle’s windshield while the vehicle was parked outside her home on Lucy Avenue. The windshield was cracked.
A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that two of her three dogs got out of her yard after someone cut her electric fence in two places. She found both of the dogs that escaped, but one was dead. She said it was lying in the road and apparently had been hit by a vehicle.
A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that he was struck in the leg when a gun fell off a bed and discharged in his home on Adams Drive. He said the gun fell when he stood up.
A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that her beige Maytag washing machine was missing from the carport at her home on Audubon Road.
A Warrenville woman reported on Saturday that someone driving a truck hit her and her father’s mailboxes on Pine Log Road on Saturday and then left the scene.
